Inks

5 different color inks are provided as part of The Starter Kit. Morantz inks are plastisol inks and designed not to dry out unless cured (heated).  This means you can leave your machine out all day, or for multiple days, without wasting any materials.  Morantz inks do not emit fumes and are safe to use in any space.  A quart of ink can print approximately 100 shirts (up to 300 shirts if used in conjunction with Reducer Extender).  Inks are available in a wide variety of colors and styles.  Puff inks give the shirt a three dimensional, embroidered look, glow in the dark inks add a unique feature, glitter inks add sparkle to your print and much more.  Many of these inks are available as part our upgrade kit and professional kits. Screens

4 Wood Screens are provided as part of The Starter Kit .  Screens can be reused over again by erasing the image (reclaiming) when finished with the job.  However, many jobs may be repeat prints, so you will want to save the screens and have new ones for other jobs.  Also, printing jobs over 4 colors will require a screen for each color.  Three different mesh counts for screens are available.  The more detailed the image, the higher mesh count you will need.  Smaller screens are available with use of a hat/cap platen (see below).

3 Metal Platens of varying sizes are provided with each Stater Kit.  These are: Adult Shirt, Leg/Sleeve and Baby Clothes.  The platens hold the material you are printing on in place, and the 3 sizes will provide you with flexibility on sizes and locations of prints.  A hat/cap platen is required for printing all types of hats (additional cost). 
An umbrella platen is required for printing on umbrellas (additional cost).

Practice Squares
You can never have enough practice squares, since practice makes perfect.  Use these to test your prints before printing on a shirt and potentially wasting material.  20 Practice squares are provided as part of The Starter Kit.

Vellum Paper
This paper allows you to transfer your image from your computer (or other source) to the screen.  Place in your printer and print out your image.  Then take to the machine and create your screen.  10 Sheets of vellum paper are provided as part of The Starter Kit.
